Counting down...

I decided it would be a good idea to start back up with my blogging endeavor as we are expecting a little blessing from God. Blogging is the most efficient method for providing updates to all our friends and family members.

Theda Chheng is expected to make her appearance some time around October 8th 2010. Although Soda and I secretly wish her to be a primary baby (10/01/10 or 10/10/10) she will be delivered when the Lord sees fit.

The next 8 weeks will be a whirlwind of activity for me. I still have my baby showers, pregnancy classes, work to finish up, and the all important nursery to prepare. Add to that 100 + Texas weather and I foresee time will be flying by. I just pray that the Lord will sustain a sense of peace in my heart throughout the tumultuous weeks to come.

Regardless of all the minor details of preparing for a new child, we are so excited for her arrival and can't wait to see her and welcome her into our hearts!

In the beginning ....

Blogging is a new endeavor for me, so please don't expect much.

I will begin with some background information:

Soda and I have been married since June 11th 2005.
We have been together since December 2000.

We currently have 0 children and 1 cat.

Lord willing we will expand our family some time in the near future.

Soda's father and mother are missionaries in Cambodia.


Perhaps one day Soda and I will also be called to serve in Cambodia along side them.
We currently both work and Soda is finishing up his degree.

We enjoy our time at home and so can accurately be labeled "Home Bodies".

Above all else, we are ever thankful to the Lord for the many blessings he has given us in our life, especially each other, and for His sacrifice made for our sakes.
